| Стаття присвячена проблемі визначення статусу і ролі міфу та релігії у сучасній соціокультурній дійсності. Розглянуто поняття міфу та релігії як джерела у формуванні ціннісних орієнтирів розуміння світу. Проаналізовано погляди відомих мислителів (психологів, філософів та ін.) щодо даних форм культури. Представлено оцінку ролі міфу і релігії в житті людини. Досліджено міф як феномен культури, який розкриває свою значимість в онтологічному, гносеологічному і соціокультурному аспектах. Доведено, що міф є фундаментальною антропологічною категорією, яка відіграє важливу роль у сучасному соціокультурному просторі, виконуючи психологічну, адаптивну, творчу, аксіологічну та соціально-регулятивну функції. Розглянуто питання релігії в сучасному світі, визначено її функції і соціальну значимість, виявлено взаємозв’язок з різними сторонами буття суспільства. Виявлено абсорбуючий характер взаємин релігії і суспільства у сучасному світі та позначено релігію як складне, багаторівневе і суперечливе явище. У статті зроблено висновок, що міф і релігія – форми культури, в основі яких глибинний взаємозв’язок, що проявляється на протязі історії. | The article is devoted to the problem of the status and role of the myth in the context of contemporary socio-cultural reality. It considers the concept of myth and religion as a source in the formation of value orientations in understanding the world. The attitudes (views) of great thinkers (psychologists, philosophers, etc.) are analyzed according to the forms of culture. Our scientific work gives an evaluation of the role of myth and religion in human life. The myth is studied as a phenomenon of culture, which reveals its significance in ontological, epistemological and socio-cultural aspects. It is illustrated that the myth is a fundamental anthropological category, which plays an important role in the modern socio-cultural space, performing psychological, adaptive, creative, axiological and socio-regulatory functions. The study considers the issue of religion in the modern world, including its functions and social significance. Also it reveals the relationships in different fields of human life. The religious consciousness is analyzed as a part of the society’s spiritual life. Faith, feelings and hope are also shown as the beginning of religious consciousness. Our study indicates the absorbing nature of the relationships between religion and society in the modern world, emphasizing religion as a complex, multilevel and contradictory phenomenon. Spiritual life is an important part of the functioning and developing part of society. Religion can be filled with rich content, which creates a favorable spiritual atmosphere for people's lives, a good moral and psychological climate. Spiritual activity is based on the society’s spiritual life. It can be regarded to the activity of consciousness, including certain thoughts and feelings of people, their images and ideas about natural and social phenomena. The results of this activity are certain views on the world, scientific ideas and theories, moral, aesthetic and religious views. The article concludes that myth and religion are forms of culture, which reveal deep interconnections during the history. It shows the people’s desire to find the final comprehension of their existence, rationalizing the incomprehensible aspect that leads to a constant reproduction of myth and religion in the culture. Religion implies the presence of a certain world outlook and attitude, focused on faith in the incomprehensible, divine source of existence. On this basis, there is a specific attitude toward its own action stereotypes, religious practices and organizations. The analyzed religious world view and the type of attitude are originally laid within the limits of mythological consciousness. Different religious views are accompanied by the different mythological systems. |
