| У статті аналізується феномен довіри, його розуміння провідними сучасними соціологами, які пояснюють зміст завдяки трикутнику: соціальні ролі, соціальні очікування, соціальні статуси. Досліджується зв’язок із суміжними поняттями, а саме – віри, безвір’я, впевненості тощо. Вивчається сутність недовіри як антипода довіри, соціальні та історичні умови її виникнення в суспільстві. Теоретичний матеріал ілюструється даними соціологічних досліджень про стан довіри та недовіри в українському суспільстві. | Summary The article analyzes the phenomenon of trust and its understanding by leading modern sociologists, who explain the content trough the triangle: social roles – social expectations – social statuses. The problem of trust was in the focus of consideration of such European thinkers as G. Grotius, J. Locke, I. Kant, E. Durkheim. Trust was studied by them in the context of the "contractual" start of social relations. In the 90s of the last century it was understood as a "social capital", as means of ensuring the functioning of society in the works of E. Giddens, G. Dasgupta, N. Luhmann, A. Seligmen, S. Aizenstand, F. Fukuyama, P. Shtompka, T. Yamagishi. The article proves that it is rational to consider the phenomenon of trust in connection with such related phenomena as faith and confidence. It should be distinguished between trust and faith in the object of relations: believe in something, and trust is formed to whom, to something. Trust is revealed to a specific object such as a person, a social group, the state. Confidence is inherent for social interactions between the individuum and functional systems, such as economics, politics, at a time when trust is necessary in situation of formation and maintenance of relations between individuums. The content of trust is also revealed through its antipodes: distrust and disbelief. The concept of "distrust" serves as a mirror image of trust. There are negative expectations concerning the actions of others and negative, defensive certainty. The term "unbelief" is used for neutral situations, when are abstained both from manifestations of trust and from distrust. The theoretical material in the article is illustrated by the data of sociological researches: about the state of trust and mistrust in Ukrainian society. In the conclusions it is noted that trust arises as a function of regulation of differences between social roles, social expectations, responsibility and honesty, that reflect the interpersonal level of this phenomenon – the microlevel. There is also generalized trust, which functions at the macro level, as an ideological orientation, the ability of an individuum to look at the world, as to the one that is trustworthy. The problem of trust is a cross-section of the problem of identity and the problem of the "Other" that are acute in our society. Since trust is an informal social attitude that is based on choice and voluntariness, then disorientation of trustful relationships leads to a loss of sense of identity. |
