| The article focuses on the problem of the methodological grounds of teaching the basics of philosophical knowledge and philosophy of medicine to the students of medical universities. The main problem is that students of medical universities often find it difficult to perceive philosophy, considering it to be a second-rate and unimportant subject. Associatively, philosophy has the status of a “poor orphan», which is pitied and because of compassion for it something is being learned. But when the course of philosophy ends, it is quickly forgotten. The most interesting is that after graduating from university, when a medical student acquires the experience of a clinician, his attitude to philosophy changes. Life and professional experience demonstrates the importance of philosophy and equates it in importance to the sciences of the natural science cycle, often making it even dominant for analysis and synthesis of scientific and life experience. Therefore, the need to find new ways of solving the conflict between the humanitarian character of philosophy and natural-science medicine through the optimization of the methodological base has been revealed. The article analyzes the current state of the methodological basis of philosophy and medicine. The self-organizational methodology of understanding the world as a complex, non-linear, dynamic system where harmony and viability are maintained by a balance between entropy and negentropy is considered. This methodology can become the basis for the optimal interaction of philosophy and medicine. In addition, in the context of its natural science medicine is accustomed to treating a person as a thing, turning it into an object. But it is worth mentioning that the object can be manipulated and this possibility leads to the loss of the subject and the person as a whole. The accumulation of biological, psychological and other special knowledge blurs the personality in medicine, turning it into a living corpse (cadavre) or inert machine (using the M. Foucault expression). And we see the way out of this situation in the need to merge the objective with the subjective, science with philosophy, when we begin to realize science as existing inside of a subject. Science alone cannot be a threat; the threat is from some concrete people. In general, the problem of optimizing the teaching of philosophy to medical students first of all lies in the optics of methodological issues. The formation of a correct methodology that ensures the synergy of the medical sciences of the natural science cycle and philosophy is the basic issue of improving the teaching of philosophy. The first step is to solve the dilemma of optimizing the coexistence of subjective philosophies and strict compliance with the objectivity of sciences of a natural cycle. The principles of rationality and logic, simplicity and idealization, successfully working in the field of humanitarian and natural knowledge must be the basic methodological principles that should guide the teacher of philosophy in medical universities. As to the possibility of forming a disciplinary matrix of philosophy of medicine it is essential to continue research in holographic (holonomic, holistic) vectors approach and self-organizational paradigm. It is all because both approaches demonstrate the successful combination of the rules of scientific activity, metaphysical provisions, principles and values schemes of solving specific problems of natural sciences and humanities. Logically, this disciplinary matrix can be offered for the development of specific trends in philosophy – the philosophy of medicine. |
