| В статті досліджуються природа та зміст історичної травми. Демонструється зв’язок історичної пам’яті, історичних фактів та історичної травми. Досліджується проблема виразу травми в мові, що ілюструється прикладами спогадів свідків Голодомору. Порівнюється тілесна і ментальна види травм. Показується, що тілесна травма поступово переростає в ментальну. Обґрунтовується, що історична травма носить етичний зміст, їй притаманний діалогічний елемент, в якому винуватці визнають свою провину перед потерпілими. | In this article is highlighted the topicality of historical trauma for modern Ukraine. The concept of trauma has become extremely widespread, showing a high level of public attention to the violence both in terms of suffering and in terms of its use. In particular, the tragic scale of repression, the Holodomor and losses during the two world wars and the Holocaust can not be “coped with” the help of traditional psychotherapeutic, political and cultural “reflection on the past” strategies. A war traumatic factor in Eastern Ukraine makes this issue more urgent. The historical traumatic concept is worthwhile to be considered in the context of historical memory concept. The article discusses historical memory concept, including related concepts, namely, cultural, collective, individual, social, heroic, non-heroic memories. The last two types of memory bring us closer to understanding the historical trauma nature. Heroic memory and damaged self is a consequence of trauma, that victims can not render into symbols. Trauma stabilizes inaccessible experience. For people who have suffered from trauma, it is difficult to put traumatic experience to words. In this article is also analyzed the ‘unprocessed lead-ball in the body” metaphor (Rut Klyuher). It points to the predominantly "body" nature of historical traumas. This metaphor contains paradoxical trauma contradiction: as an inseparable part of man, it remains not assimilated to the structure of individual is treated as an alien element. Body trauma should include the consequences of prolonged starvation, sexual harassment or excessive physical activity during forced labor in concentration camps. According to the author, it is not necessary to limit the value of historical trauma to purely physical aspects and to underestimate the psychological consequences of traumatic experiences. Unlike animals that also experience body traumas, a person is able to reflect on this. That’s why, body traumas contributes to mental ones. Among physical and mental characteristics, the historical trauma carries an ethical meaning. It has a dialogical element which means that culprits recognize their fault before the victim. Historical trauma is not only a problem of historical science, but also of a policy of recognition. The article gives the definition of historical trauma as a catastrophic event in the past, accompanied with extreme forms of violence, destruction of usual way of life as well as with their consequences that have devastating effects on the psyche, behavior, memory of individuals and social groups. |
